We recommend having the following information ready before starting an assessment:
- The number of components that your packaging has
- The component sizes (i.e. width, height, depth)
- The component weights
- Materials for each component and their specification
The assessment is based on an individual component level. If you are a packaging manufacturer supplying material, you will need to consider what the end component will be in order to complete an assessment, i.e. Tray or Sachet. If the component is made up of a combination of materials, the assessment should be based on the predominant material.
