Can foil have a recycle label?

In order for foil to be recycled, the guidance says there should be a minimum of 75% aluminium in a foil mixed material. Any additional materials will be burnt off during reprocessing but reprocessors want to ensure a minimum or quality material.
Although it is recyclable, it needs to be scrunched together with other foil pieces to ensure it can be captured. So while you can use the recycle label, we would suggest that you include a supporting message for the consumer - 'scrunch foil together to form a ball'.
